This 5 Star ⭐️ review is for Khalid in the meat department. This was my first time at this store location. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure my customer needs were taken care of . I really enjoyed the experience at this location which is now the only place I’m gonna go to get my meats . Thank you Khalid for your professionalism and the wonderful customer experience:) ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Kowalski's has been around for so long it's just a neighborhood staple. It has come a long way and it's always fun to stop in and see what lovely items they have in. I don't do my big grocery shopping trips here but do stop in weekly for quick pick ups, or when I need a cute gift or dessert. They have some very tasty and elegant pastries! Their miniature cheesecakes are divine and the cannoli are superb. If you need a cake for guests go with the chocolate decadence! AMAZING!! They have great chicken and Mac and cheese for a quick dinner. I go there to grab a quick, tasty picnic dinner. They have everything all set! Their floral section is always fresh, well cared for, and the variety of different items and lush greens can make some beautiful arrangements. They have a delightful little gift area that has some lovely and unique seasonal, woman's, local, essential oils, and baby items. Plus they have an extended area of cool kitchen gadgets and fun dishes and things along the tops of the dairy area. I always find way to many things for whatever gift I'm looking for. The store is always clean and well maintained and the staff is EXCEPTIONAL! I was having a bad week, my grandfather had passed and one of the staff members remembered helping me the previous week and asked me how my grandpa was, I told him he had passed and when I was checking out, he had a a huge beautiful bouquet of flowers and 2 desserts packed up for me as a gift!! I started crying I was so touched! Just a wonderful place to shop!

Kowalski's is a lovely high-end grocery store. The customer service is outstanding, as any employee is eager to help. Ryan, the manager, was very accommodating. The produce is consistently fresh and artfully displayed. The bakery selections rival a French patisserie. The cheeses are fantastic. There's a nice deli with a wide variety of offerings. Shopping at Kowalski's is always a great experience!

This place is really nice ,but a lot of the things you can find at other stores for the cheaper. I mainly go here for the hot bar. They have a wing, bar, salad bar, etc. I also really enjoy the rotisserie chicken. It's seasoned well and cooked well, so it's not dry.

This takes me back to my favorite grocery store in Sol Kali.. Sprouts. It's literally a copy but sandwiches don't take 15mins but Kowalski's is a little smarter by prep making them. I say a little but at Sprouts if you go for a sandwich.. you know you'll end up grabbing some things around things around the store. Pro tip for your next location.. and Midwest people have more patiences and less Karen's then California. You probably could take 15-20mins lol. I'm all about the people in the sandwich department. That area is hands down the most stressful area js. I worked as a butcher at Sprouts and the meat guy/butcher at Kowalski's gives that same energy lol. Only in the Midwest could you be working on something, customer looking at you, you look meating it away ⏸️, minutes go by without noticing and old boy isn't mad. Low key I love that about the Midwest. OMG I just saw a nun!! I had to double check if I saw that. If it's Halloween you might see a sexy nun but not REAL life nun. Bro!! I wanted grab a picture cause it felt like a celebrity moment. Low key and underrated greatness.. the cheese department. Irish cheddar SLAPS. That crisp, buttery and smooth but sharp cheddar OMFG *excuse nun* I censored myself tho

A real pleasure to shop here. It may not be priced to everybody's budget, but if you look around, you can see where the money goes. Beautiful store. **One sour note* The cashier wished me "a blessed day." I prefer not to have someone else's religion laid on me if I have not requested it.

Kowalski's takes all my money that target leaves behind! Which is odd because I don't cook. They have a wide variety of cooked foods that are really good! Eat here 3 to 4 times a week because it's very convenient and close to home. My shopping experience is top tier here. There's a Starbucks inside which knocks out 2 stops in one for me. It's always clean and the staff are always friendly. Elevate your grocery shopping and stop in, it's so cute and clean!

I was visiting St. Paul for a week. I went to this store daily. I love this store. I want to move to St Paul specifically to be able to shop here. The sushi is so fresh and tasty. The donuts that I tried were the best that I have ever tasted in my 52 years of life. Every item is fresh. The meat counter blew my mind, so many choices and the quality is top tier. If I knew that tomorrow was my last day on earth, my last meals would come from Kowalski's. I used to believe that Disneyland was the happiest place on earth, but now Kowalaki's is my happy place 😁

Fantastic grocery store with above and beyond customer service. There are really good selections of food and Kowalski's has some unique options as well. I have always enjoyed my trips to this Kowalski's. It provides a cozy and enjoyable grocery shopping experience.

Kowalski’s Markets — The Gold Standard of Grocery Shopping in Minnesota I’ve been going to Kowalski’s since the Grand Avenue location first opened — literally since I was a child. One of my earliest (and still favorite) memories was the “avenue signs” down each aisle. As a kid, I’d hunt for my street every visit, even though nothing in that aisle was anything I wanted. It still felt special. As an adult, Kowalski’s has become my go-to store for premium groceries, produce, and meat. Their quality is unmatched. Whether it’s everyday items or something special like a tomahawk ribeye, they always seem to have what I need. I normally order my tomahawks from Snake River Farms, so finding one in stock at Kowalski’s for the Fourth of July was a huge (and very welcome) surprise. Service & Staff I genuinely cannot think of a single time over the years when the staff hasn’t been friendly, attentive, or extremely helpful. They still offer carry-out service for every customer — even if you have just one bag. Minnesota winters can be brutal, so I always tip because these guys work hard and it shows. Quality of Food Their produce section feels like a curated farmer’s market — everything is fresh, vibrant, and consistently high quality. Their meat department is top-tier, and their bakery/dessert section has everything from fresh pastries to chocolate-covered strawberries. For the past decade, Kowalski’s has been the one fulfilling my chocolate-covered strawberry order every year on my birthday, and they’ve never disappointed. Reliability When other stores run out of basics — eggs, milk, essentials — Kowalski’s still has it. The store is spotless, modern, and organized, and the employees truly seem to care. If you’re in Minnesota and value great service, amazing produce, high-end meats, or just an elevated grocery shopping experience, Kowalski’s is the place. I’ve been going for decades, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
